A two day course in which students will be taught all the skills necessary to plan and make their own gathered lampshade - preparing the frame, measuring and marking the fabric, and stitching the gathers into place. Students will also learn how to line their lampshade, and create their own bias trim.

I will provide all students with a frame and suitable lining fabric. Students will need to bring a basic sewing kit and their own choice of top fabric.
